I remember when I came across the first extended cuff 12 inch nitrile gloves about 15 or so years ago. They were purple Safeskin, and it was amazing to finally have disposable nitrile gloves that extended past the wrists. Well, now enter the 16 inch long cuff!!
Safeskin is now Halyard, and because these gloves are intended for more extreme situations than the typical exam glove, they are noticeably thicker than most disposable nitriles, but not too thick. The fit is amazing, typically gloves this long are industrial-type, so to have this kind of length and fit is a wonderful combination. The gauntlets are not tight on the bare arm, and will even slide down a bit as worn (as they are designed to be worn over the sleeves of gowns in their typical workplace usage.)
Ansell and Medline have also gotten into the 16 inch disposable market with their blue nitrile. I have not tried them yet, but assume that they are similar to the Halyards.

I really wanted to try the Halyard Health 16" Purple Nitrile Max gloves, but they're so hard to find. Ansell's option is thinner than what Halyard offers, which may not be a good or bad thing. I saw the Medline gloves on Amazon, but they don't ship to Canada, so I haven't been able to try them yet.

I finally obtained some of the blue nitrile 16" gloves. They are much thinner than the purple Halyards, basically the same thickness as your standard nitrile glove, which makes them much less fatiguing, and better if you're looking to double up. (12s over 16s? I can get on board with that! )
