Chux Extra Grip Kitchen Gloves - Video Review

Hi guys!

Here's my first video review! I reviwed these Chux Extra Life Kitchen Gloves available from supermarkets in New Zealand.

Personally, I loved these gloves. They are a longer length, smooth rubber inside, the grip is quite good, as the material of the gloves were smooth and soft. Here's my video! I do apologise for the grating sound. The autofocus motor on my camera is dying but it will be sorted in time for the next glove review video.

If there's enough demand, I could look at buying some gloves to ship out to you guys. Postage is quite expensive here, but if enough people are interested then I think I could get a discount for posting in bulk.

Also - If you enjoyed the video and would like to support me in reviewing more gloves that I find out here, then it would mean the world if you could support my patreon page; https://www.patreon.com/pheejameson More subscribes means that I can buy more gloves to review for you guys!

Oh, so they do still have Chux! :w00t:

It's a pity the grip is so rough (by the looks of it), but otherwise they look really good! Love the colour, and the pearl lining is definitely a plus!

These are Medium, right? Or what does the ML on the cuff stand for? Medium Large? How well would you say these fit? Are you normally a Medium?

And how long are the cuffs exactly?

Is it an idea if you take a bunch home and sell them once you're back in the UK to keep the postage down? You'll definitely be able to sell them all either way if you put them up on eBay. I know I'd definitely buy a pair. :)

Already looking forward to your next video review! :D

Yup, they were sold as a medium in the shelf. I'm normally a medium and the fit is perfect.

I'm not sure how long the cuffs are without buying a tape measure to measure them, but they are noticeably longer than the pairs that I normally have back in the UK, but they're not quite elbow length. Somewhere in-between.

Maybe, the only issue is limited storage space seeing as I am travelling around at the moment and my case is pretty stuffed as it is!

Yes, understandable. I of all people should know how fast rubber gloves can fill up a suitcase. ;) One of my favorite activities abroad is to go glove hunting. :)

Hi Phee

As usual, I'm a bit late to the party, so welcome to the forum ...

Great video, would love to see more ... especially a review of your Marigolds, nothing better in my opinion and with you being from the UK, I sense you think the same.

Perhaps you could describe what you wear them for, why you wear them, what makes them better than other gloves etc etc

PM me if you need to know a bit more ...

Keep up the good work !!

Unfortunately, I'm travelling the other side of the world for the next year or so, so I don't have anywhere to buy Marigolds! Marigolds are by far my favourite, but I must say that the pair I reviewed in this video do come pretty close!

Hi Phee!

Awesome to see your pics as well as the video! Welcome to the forum! :D

Those rubber household gloves look awesome, and I would absolutely be interested in getting a couple of pairs, size S and M. Do they only come in green, or are there other colors available as well?

Regards

I have only seen green, so I think that's the only colour they have! I think I've only seen a size medium around, too. But I can keep an eye out for some small size pairs. i'm sure there will be some somewhere. :)
