Difference between Marigold G01R and Marigold G359R?

Post by tigga76 »

Does any of you know the differences between Marigold G01R and Marigold G359R?

Outwardly in color, size, fit, design and handle pattern are very similar to identical.
On the photos is one G01R glove and one G359R glove.

I bought the G01R in Germany, marketed there as rinsing gloves for laboratories. The G359R in a Dutch drugstore as a "classic" household glove.

The inside is slightly different, so the G359R also makes a somewhat thicker impression subjectively.

From a UK point of view, the G01R is/was the classic household glove sold here in the 1970s/80s as "Marigold Lightweight" Household Gloves

The thinner, lighter lining apparently gave the glove more sensitivity compared to the next glove up in the range, which at that time was the Pink Marigold Extra glove. The Lightweight was marketed as a glove for the finer household chores, whereas the Extra was for all household chores ... The lining of the G01R is the same today as it was back in the 1970s ...

The lining of the G359R appears similar to the Extra glove from back then and is comparable to today's Marigold Kitchen Extra Life & Marigold Bathroom gloves as marketed here in the UK. The thicker stark white cotton flock lining shows to me as the only difference between the two gloves ...

So, basically, the G359R is the G01R but with a thicker flock lining ...

Hope this helps you ...
