So explain this one for me!

Post by countrylatexglover »

When I go to the actual doctors I get so worked up and don’t want to be there. Have had a fear for a long time called white coat syndrome I get high blood pressure when I’m there and everything kinda scares me and throws me way off.

Now when it’s time for the fetish I don’t have any problems. Gloves masks aprons some tools don’t scare me at all, even when I see certain med procedures done in a video it doesn’t bother me even injections in videos don’t bother me so much. When it’s the real deal though my body goes into a panic.

Watch medical porn to me is fine and dental too I’m guessing it’s just the setting know what’s going to happen. I’m just surprised I don’t panic when doing medical play or something cause my white coat can be heavy at times.

Any thoughts anyone??

Every anxiety has a beginning (trigger), even if we cannot remember.
Do you have any bad experiences with hospitals etc.?

I do remember as a young in all the shots growing up and for some reason every doctors visit seems to have involved be poked by some kind of needle for either blood work or vaccine and over time when I could make my own choices I had tried to say no to them unless necessary. I guess I don’t remember all the times I didn’t have to do that.

MyHandsAreHidden wrote: Sat Jul 20, 2019 7:39 am I had 2 major surgeries by the time I was 4 years old, and don't recall any specific "this is bad" experiences. But somewhere along the way I developed a strong white coat syndrome, to the point where my blood pressure is usually in the "uh, sir, you have a problem" range while at the doctor. I think my anxiety is more a fear of the unknown and feeling as though I'm not in control of the situation.
I believe you and I have the same fear! I get worried about any kind of test they ask me to do. Now my doc knows me pretty well and tries to avoid needles at all cost! I even have a nurse pretty much designated to me due to the fact she can calm me down and talk to me to do my blood pressure and she gets the best readings.

I do wish that she would wear gloves when working on me but I think my white coat prevents that lol, I think she this it would scare me! I have wondered about tell long her she can wear gloves if she wants to but I think it would make my pressure go up for another reason lol!

I just wonder why I can watch medical fetish things and not get scare by it. I would think it would bother me to watch. Sometimes it goes to far and I have to turn it off but most of the time I can watch it!
