Re: Feeling safe at work
Yes, I very much enjoy the feeling of being protected. At my old job, I would often wear those heavier green nitrile gloves for cleaning drains, scrubbing the dishwasher and cleaning toilets (don't worry, there was different pairs for each task). The protection they offered were great for the tasks at hand.
Unfortunately I haven't needed to wear a valved N95 mask yet, but hopefully I will eventually get the opportunity. I do have N95 masks, and the valves help so much with breathing. The feeling of being able to do work while still being well protected is enjoyable to me, I enjoy that barrier between me and the hazards. No eye protection though? OSHA might have something to say about the lack of eye protection though...

Re: Feeling safe at work
I think that feeling of protection is a big part of what many of us get from the fetish, I know it does something for me too at least
