Where did this glove fetish come from?

As far back as I can remember, I've always had a fetish for gloves. I wore them sometimes when I was really young masturbating. Once I got into middle school and high school, that's when the fetish turned from me wearing gloves to seeing other girls in gloves. Strange indeed. These days, I rarely wear gloves to masturbate, but I almost always want my girl to wear them in privacy. Sometimes I don't push her, but it's never the same.

I cannot for the life of me figure out where this fetish came from. It had to be something from my childhood, but I can't remember. How do I find out?
