This evening another member asked me chatting. We are doing it via PMs, but it is very slow and tricky... I have sent some messages to myself!

It would be wonderful if we could open a private chat with one or more members like in Facebook.

I removed most references to it because it was slowing down the forum and it didn't really work anyway. At the end, it was just a big wall of people saying "Hello? Anyone here?", without much response.

It's still there, though: mchat.php#mChat

You can also access it by clicking on "Who is chatting" at the bottom of the forum.
