Latex Repair? [hole between thumb and index finger]

Post by shed740 »

The end result is probably that I will have to buy a new pair, but, I've a tiny hole (2-3mm diameter) in the v between my thumb and index finger in my latex opera gloves. It looks like a production flaw which has opened up but I can't be certain. Is it worth attempting some sort of repair to this or do I just go and buy a new pair?

I would say most times it's probably just better to buy a new pair. Especially for the hassle you'll go through. I did find an interesting guide on repair of Rubber gloves:

I can't vouch if it will work though.

I know someone who is really good at glove repairing. Will drop him a pm and ask him to advise you.

Thanks although I decided to disturb the moths in my wallet and buy new (will try to take much greater care of them this time too).
