Vacuum sealing gloves for storage
Currently I store my rubber and latex gloves loose in plastic toolboxes. Today the thought crossed my mind to vacuum pack them in reuseable bags to make a little more room in the boxes. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Spacesaver-Repla ... psc=1&th=1 would be what I'm thinking. Anybody ever used this method before?
I love rubber gloves!

Re: Vacuum sealing gloves for storage
Fabric clearly has air space in between that rubber latex doesn't seem to have
and I wonder if it would just suck the structure broken if you will...?

You might also run the risk of the gloves sticking together if left too long packed tight.SexySurgical wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 11:41 am Fabric clearly has air space in between that rubber latex doesn't seem to have

For storage, rubber needs to be able to breathe, at lower temperature, and slightly powdered. Packing your gloves together in a vacuum bag *will* speed up their deterioration.

Re: Vacuum sealing gloves for storage
I stick to what I started earlier: vacuum sealing your gloves will ruin them.
Store:
- in a cool place (e.g. garage, NOT attic)
- in a dark place
- 'airy', so don't try to squeeze all your gloves in one box.
- regularly 'stir' your gloves, shake them up so that they're not packed in the same time for prolonged time
However, best advise:
Don't store your gloves, USE them!
