I think I have Dexter's Lab to thank for that, haha. I remember being so obsessed with his mum and her gloves when I was a kid. That episode dedicated to her losing her gloves is my favorite. X3

Also, which board would be appropriate for me to show off some of my art? I'd love to show a few of my best pieces here but I'm not quite sure where to post.

Mmm, I do! :D I grew up loving white cartoon gloves like Mickey Mouse's and Bugs Bunny's, but I LOVE gloves in anime the most. I love when they're drawn with the seams visible. The more detailed the glove, the better, I say! :)

Detailed gloves are incredibly fun to draw as well, I might add!

Well, since it's often a bit difficult to specify exactly what kind of gloves are depicted in illustrations, we usually keep them in the "other gloves" board of the general (or premium, if you want a more exclusive audience) pictures area. However, since you probably know what kind of gloves you're drawing yourself, you could post them in the corresponding boards.

The advantage of posting them in the boards for each type of glove is that you will probably get more views, but if you choose to post everything in 'other', you can keep it all in one thread. Either is fine.

Hello, glad to have you here! I loved reading your story, your childhood experiences sound pretty similar to mine - right down to me being fascinated by the gloves in Sailor moon. My parents were really curious at that time why I was always watching a "girls show" instead of preferring more rambunctious stuff. :D

Haha I remember being obsessed with watching Power Rangers, Pokemon and Digimon when i was a little kid because I was so obsessed with their gloves. My parents were always wondering why I wasn't watching more girly things instead. XD
