Highporn/tanix or any other site that looks like that or uses JwPlayer doesn't allow videos to be downloaded through the usual means. So here's what you want to do.

First you download wget for windows, if you have linux then you already have it.

Install wget(don't install it to the place it wants, ProgramFIles, etc. instead install it to the desktop or documents)

Optional: add wget to PATH, only do this if you've done this before, if you don't know what this means just move along

In the folder where you installed wget press shift and right click and then select "Open command window here".

Now go to the website your video is and get the video url by right clicking it and choosing "copy video location". If you can't right click the video view the page source and try to find the video url

Edit the following command to match your video: Make sure to include the http:// even if the site url doesn't have it and don't use it on the video url.

After this the video should download, and even if it stops a few times wget will start automatically from the place it stopped as long as you're using the -c option which is in the command I told you to use.

After it downloads change the extension if necessary to match the video, usually it's an mp4.

If you added wget to your path you can run the command from anywhere. If after the download finished you can't find it, you probably installed wget in a locked directory, either move it somewhere else or add wget to path or run cmd as an administrator. Any questions just ask

It should be noted, you can install wget on a mac using Homebrew https://brew.sh.

Homebrew is an awesome powerful, free tool for mac that installs terminal based software that does a lot of things. Video encoding and denoising as well.

Once homebrew is installed, open terminal and type, brew install wget.

Note: You must have admin privileges to install.

That happens because I'm an idiot that is unable to copy and paste, you need to add wget before -c, I've fixed it in the original post.

Btw, I assume this method works for other sites as well?

Another alternative if all else fails (at least if you have a mac): Open Quicktime. Set up a screen recording, then drag your cursor to fit the box the video will play in. Start recording, then click on the video. End the recording once the video is over.

The downside is that you probably won't get any audio sound, but you will get the clip.
