Is there any point in that movie she wore yellow household gloves? I flicked through it but couldn't find any trace of such a scene.
Might not be worth bothering with but thought I'd ask...

It was listed in the old rob whrg site - the page stating "household gloves in movies", one of which was "Toni Collette - Connie and Carla".

If Rob put it up there, then there's a chance he may not have seen the film himself, but was just acting upon a recommendation ...
Alternatively, the film may have been edited to suit a particular market/DVD/Format, so that scene could be missing ...
I've never seen it, so don't know, but I wonder if the original poster (If it wasn't Rob) got confused with a similar Australian TV show that was shown here on the BBC in the 90s/00s ... The name of it escapes me at the moment, but was a similar premise of two Aussie ladies, mother & daughter, living together ... It'll come to me eventually ...
