Anybody seen this film yet? Because it may be worth checking out. (If not for the gloves, then surely for Eva Green. )

My mother knows it very well, as she visited the small castle a lot when she was a kid. The family De Beukelaer, founders of the equally named cookies factory (probably you know them in the Netherlands as well) used to own the castle, and my mother went there to play with their kids that had approximately the same age.

I think they brought it up in an interview it was actually patent leather, not PVC, but I can't find the link.
