MyHandsAreHidden wrote:If you're interested in brands to look into, then like Grims said, Ansell is a good place to start. They have probably the largest selection, since they control several brand names including Microflex, my personal favorite. Their Diamond Grip are my go-to latex gloves. Adenna isn't bad; my physician when I was a teenager used Adenna Gold. They were too thin for my taste, but I know some people love them thin. Aurelia makes quality exam gloves, although I've never tried any of their latex, just nitrile. KC/Halyard makes excellent nitrile gloves; not sure if they make latex ones. Cardinal Health is another brand I've heard good things about.

If you're looking for places to buy gloves, I'd recommend eBay. You can find good deals on cases and individual boxes from reliable distributors. Just make sure you read carefully and don't buy items that want exorbitant shipping costs. I've also bought exam gloves from medical supply sites such as SmartPractice, but you do have to sign up for an account and provide some personal information.

As far as in person purchasing of surgical gloves, if you are referring to proper sterile ones, you're going to be hard pressed to find those outside of maybe a specialty medical supply store.
Thanks for the suggestion! I have been looking into microflex for a while.

If you're looking for latex exam gloves, I would start with Amazon. As MyHandsAreHidden said, Ansell / Microflex is a good place to start. Once you find the style of glove you're looking for, you'll find more brands that you like. I tend to stick to the larger companies which produce multiple styles of glove. I was recommended McKesson gloves by a friend, but I have't tried them yet. Medline is also a decent option.
MyHandsAreHidden wrote:KC/Halyard makes excellent nitrile gloves; not sure if they make latex ones.
Halyard doesn't make latex exam gloves, but Kimberly Clark does. Kimberly Clark latex gloves are hard to come by, the main ones you'll be looking at are Kimberly-Clark Comfort Latex Powder Free Exam Gloves, Kimberly-Clark PFE Powder-Free Latex Exam Gloves and the Kimberly-Clark XTRA-PFE Powder-Free Latex Exam Gloves. They have some cleanroom gloves, which are available as sterile or non-sterile, but I'm not sure if they're specifically what you're looking for.

I've used Cardinal Health products, and I found them really average. They'll be harder to come by since they're typically used by hospitals, but I did find a site that has a selection (http://www.vitalitymedical.com). That being said, they're used by hospitals who want to keep consumable costs down, so the gloves I've gotten to try are pretty average at best.

Microflex diamond grip are the bomb very smooth thick and straw colored. You might be able to get some samples of other microflex products for free form their site i also like their sterile gloves for clean rooms they are non textured and have a long cuff. The Aurelia Dimensions are also nice but are a tad more grippy despite not having a texture.
