Holland's best household gloves now available worldwide

Post by Rommeltje »

Good news, household lovers! :w00t: My favourite Dutch brand of rubber gloves, Sorbo, are now widely available in the UK, US and Australia! And it looks like they're sold in a few other countries as well (going by this map: https://www.talacooking.com/locations*). Perhaps this has been the case for a while, but it wasn't when I last recommended them to a Brit on here.

https://www.talacooking.com/_all?search ... rbo+gloves (Make sure you get the yellow ones)

And they come in small as well!

Go try 'em, and tell me how you liked 'em! :whoop:

*There seems to be something off about that map - one store is located way out in the ocean off the coast of Africa - so further investigation is needed, but it's promising, to say the least. :-)

Their YHRG are very good indeed, subtle sweet spot between strong thick and thin tactile.
Their disposable might still not be the best around to put it mildly. Tearing immediately, that sort of stuff (years ago though)

Would it be possible please to provide me with a recommendation in Southern Europe (France, Spain, Italy, Portugal)? Which brand / type do you recommend?

It looks like Sur la Table sells them, but not online. An email to their CS department might be instore?

Oh, I just noticed I broke the link to store locator in my first post, but I fixed it now.

There are a couple of stores in the US. Any of them near you? Your biggest chance is living somewhere on the California Coast. (I'm actually going there this winter, so I'm gonna try and check if they really do stock them.)
