There is a possibility the forum may go down soon. I don't know exactly when, and I don't even know for sure that it will happen, but just in case it does, I wanted to warn you all.
The reason is that the forum is doing a bit too well, and as a result we are causing too heavy a load on our host's processor. I've tried ways to bring down our cpu usage, but they've all been unsuccessful in the long run. If this keeps happening (and it does), the result may be that the hosting company shuts us down.
There's no reason to worry, however. If it does happen, we'll just move to another host. That will mean we will be offline for a few days. There's no telling how long that will be exactly, but we will definitely be back eventually. So don't give up on us.
Warning: forum may go offline any day now, but don't panic

Yes agree wth previous comment all the other boards (eg Yahpoo) disappeared over the years due to changes in the operators so this is only one left would really miss it if it went it is good to share if something nice found isn't it? If it does metamorphose how will we know how to find the new one that is the only thing?

Oh, don't worry, the url will stay the same. It's just the backside that will change, nothing that you will notice, apart from the time it'll take to transfer the whole thing.loopy wrote:...how will we know how to find the new one that is the only thing?

Is there any possibility that the links to the videos may be lost?
Re: Warning: forum may go offline any day now, but don't pan
All data, including links, should be retained on a change of host. TBH Rommeltje could already have switched hosts and you wouldn't notice. Downtime usually occurs when something goes pear shaped during the transition or if the current host is being an arse.
Everyone's a freak in one way or another - it's how much and how you choose to express it that counts. As long as it harms no-one (unless that's their preference, of course) then who are we to judge?

Looks like we're in the clear again (*knock on wood*), so I've taken down this announcement.
Also, I'm almost afraid to say this, for fear of jinxing it, but it looks like the Internal Serval Error issue is over as well. I have no idea why, I just know that it's nothing that I did.
