When you're picking out your gloves to wear do you think about colour?
This question is more directed at gloves used for masturbation rather than for other things.
Does the shade of that colour matter when you buy them? For example brighter pink is a huge turn on for me but the darker shade isn't as much!

Re: Does colour matter?
In a perfect situation, I can get very specific on what color, size, texture, powdered or unpowdered, and even the general smell of a glove. Though im usually not really to picky to care because of my overall fascination with gloves and will happily go at it with most latex gloves
In a perfect world though for me, I would totally go with a light but bright purple latex exam glove, lightly powered with none of that griped stuff at the ends, a little more on the thin side but not enough that you could really see through the glove and make out the hand. And they should be elbow length. And definitely the sterile one per pack kind that surgeons use in the OR.

Light purple opaque elbow length, no grip. I'll pretend you said extremely tight.

I care and I don't care haha
I like having a wide selection of colors, so I get excited when I find something I don't have...
But I prefer the smell over the color if I had to choose, I go for the stronger smelling ones

I have always preferred bright white latex gloves over the off-white ones. More important than that, however, is being able to slide the gloves on easily.

Re: Does colour matter?
the only thing Ive ever had against white gloves is that if your hands arn't washed before putting them on, they get dirty on the inside and it will change from white to brown in some spots. Maybe its just because i buy crappy brands but it always disgusted me when they would do that.smoothshaper wrote:I have always preferred bright white latex gloves over the off-white ones. Brown??? Yellow certainly but I don't think I've seen many go brown before unless they were already yellow and were continually worn. Perhaps if you wore some for like a week nonstop :P Oh that sounds fun now!

For household gloves
pink/red/blue are the best
green/purple follows
yellow/orange are so-so
brown/black are not first choices
For leather gloves
pink/red/blue/purple/black are the best
brown follows
yellow/orange are just normal
white is great sometimes

Re: Does colour matter?
I rarely come across white household gloves, and rarer still, orange and red.
Red I've seen when they're shoulder length but they're very thick (of the ones I've seen) and too large for fun times
