Re: Casabella 2015 Waterblock gloves
I complete agree with what has been said. The new Waterblock gloves are completely different to what we are used to, to the point where I actually returned unused boxes.
To add to this, there are also differences in finishing depending on the country. I had ordered several Casabella gloves from Japan when the Waterstop glove supply was running low. I received them much later and they were Waterblock gloves. They are as rayray and g_love999 described. Looking around, I found a site that said they still had Waterstop gloves so I placed an order. Similarly, they were falsely advertised and when I received them they were actually Waterblock gloves. They were similar to the Japanese version, but the latex was much tackier. I'm not completely sure how to put it. The closest comparison I can make is chlorinated vs. non-chlorinated latex.

Casabella 2015 Waterblock gloves: My thoughts
I received one pair of large and one pair of medium new Casabella Waterblock gloves. I do believe they are quite a bit different from the originals, however I don't believe they have been ruined. The rubber has a nice soft feel to it, not too different from the original. The grippers are not bad, but I wish they were a bit smoother. The double cuff is just kind of meh, not sure where they were going with that. They do fit a little more snug, but I have no complaints about that. The flock lining could be a bit better also. They almost feel unlined when you put them on. I think they are still a decent rubber glove. The originals will be missed very much and I will have to take care of the few pairs I have.
I love rubber gloves!

Re: Casabella 2015 Waterblock gloves
The waterblock gloves are very different than the waterstop gloves. My wife loved the waterstop gloves for washing dishes. We used to have two pairs of waterstop gloves but recently the ones used for washing dishes developed a hole. My wife tried to use the waterblock gloves for washing dishes but she said the lining was horrid. After washing dishes the inside was all "wet." Unfortunately, the 2nd pair of waterstop gloves that was for other uses is now for washing dishes and the waterblock gloves are for other uses. It is really ashame that casabella did not spend more time learning how the gloves were manufactured in Greece because the new ones are very different.

You can even get them in ebay:

(I wasn't sure what topic was best for this)

Interesting but if these ones are the same as the current production, they definitely a step down from what they used to, in terms of quality!
