Who else hates when you might be doing something that could warrant the wearing of gloves and a friend will say “Naa I don’t need those bitch mittens.“Or they will say: “gloves, you mean bitch mittens?”
I can’t stand when people call them that lol.
I hate the term bitch mittens!

Re: I hate the term bitch mittens!
I have literally never heard that term, nor even those two words in the same sentence. That's hilarious.

Haha like that romm??
It’s from people where I from not really heard much anymore but mainly by those who were afraid of wearing gloves because it made them less of a man. More of a back country thing in the United States. Maybe even just up north here. They wanted to make sure to show dirt on their hands made it look good.
In their opinion if you wore gloves you were a sissy hahaha.

This term is popular in the construction scene. I install window and doors for a living, and have had that said to me a few times but gloves are making they way back in as a full time normal. Working with metal capping, you hands get really cut up. I wear maxiflex cut nitrile dipped gloves all day long. Then Aurelia sonic nitrile when using woodfill and caulking.

Yes pond exactly this is usually where it comes from. Either construction or farming. Though the funny thing is those who have had close calls or good experience tell you to wear them and those who are “tuff” choose not too. Seems to be the “tough guy thing”. I wore them and still do every changes I get. I don’t like hurting my hands lol. When I wear gloves they last longer.
