a Middle Aged Woman in Marigolds!

I was in a cafe alone today. A really chatty and attractive middle aged woman who worked there came over and asked me how I was doing because I was sitting by myself. She was wearing a pair of yellow marigolds and a pinstripe apron and was walking past to go get some plates off a table behind me. When she approached she placed her gloved fingertips on the side of the table and asked me if I was meeting anybody. I said yes when I wasn't because I didn't want to look weird sitting in a cafe on my own. I also asked her how her day was going. She said pretty good, I said that I was meeting a girl at the cafe (so I'd have a reason to wait around). I glimpsed down at those golden marigolds only once because I didn't want to look weird. God, I wish I'd have been able to stare at them all day. I could see water on the gloves and they fit her hands so snug. I wish I had photographic memory lol
I stayed in the cafe quite a bit. I didn't have a real reason to stay, I just liked the view. The woman thought I got stood up on my date and came over and spoke to me for like half an hour still wearing the gloves. She was so attractive and confident and looked stunning in those damn gloves. I jokingly tested the water and asked her if she'd be up for a date instead, but she told me she was married. The rejection didn't feel good tbh, but i didn't act too bothered because her response was she was married not that she didn't like me. I just said oh I didn't see a ring because of the marigolds and kind of laughed it off. Oh I also said too bad all the best girls always are and it made her smile and blush which I've never done before. I have never in my years of life ever made a middle aged woman blush! I hope I made her day so she remembers me!
Anyway I waited around 10 more minutes and then I decided to leave so I didn't creep her out too much because I kept looking at her gloves whilst she was working. Sure I didn't do it in an obvious way, but I just didn't want to make her associate me as creepy or anything. As I left she came up to the counter and said sorry about my date and she genuinely looked sad lol. She got all upset and said I'm a really polite young man and she can't believe somebody would stand me up. I said something like this is the 3rd time and she said she'd give me a hug if she could, but kinda presented her gloves and said she didn't want to get me wet because she was washing the dishes. I honestly wanted it, but there was no way of asking for the hug without seeming like a weirdo. It was one of those things you just had to accept. She was so nice and friendly towards me though. I really hope she remembers me if I go back there. I know she's married and stuff, but it'd be nice to make some older friends because right now all my friends are my age and they all just kind of bore me to death. We had some really good chemistry surprisingly, but if we ever become friends is entirely up to her. The ball is in her court in that regard. I still don't know her name yet and I beat myself up after I left for not asking. I'm a bit of an idiot lmao.
I will probably go back to that cafe again. Not sure when though. I don't want it to be too soon or she'd think I was weird, but I don't want to leave it too late or she'll forget I exist. I'm pretty shy with strangers usually and it's a nice change that a woman actually approached me first to talk. I can only imagine though she's probably like that with everyone. I guess next time I go it'll help me see if she talks to other people as much as she talks to me.
ANYWAYS. She was so amazing! I've got the worst crush ever. I haven't had a crush like this since my college days. I'm such a shy guy usually, I'm proud of myself for actually managing to keep a conversation interesting with her for as long as I did. Her being attractive, confident and friendly helped a lot with that though. Oh and the gloves too ofc.
