I've casually followed her to work one or twice. keeping my eyes on the gloves and her hand movement in the gloves.After a few years volunteering at local church events. I met a woman called Rachel. She always wore rubber gloves in the kitchen while cleaning. over the years i've become a regular at the church kitchen where we help the elderly. This woman also helps out at a local charity book shop. since lockdown i've been going to this shop and asking Rachel to help me look for specialist books and rare editions. The first time i asker to wear some marigold bathroom gloves.(the green gloves.) I knew i wanted the glove wearing to last for at least ten minutes. So i started coming up with a plan. i made a long list and printed it off and put it with the gloves i wanted her to wear that day. What a shame i only have the 58cm gloves. Oh dear.
so i went to the book shop and got down to business. we shared some small talk about how im doing and her. I asker her to help me find some books. I told her that i only have some long gloves with me. No problem she said. 
. So here we are in the shop looking round. I only got two books. But seeing her put these long rubber gloves on was heavenly. Then she was walking around the shop with them on as if it was normal. Happy days. When i paid for the books and got my card back. She asked me if i want the gloves back. Yes i said. Ive got them with my cardigan now so i can wear them out next time i go to London. After this new lockdown. I have another list to take to the shop and some Green 58cm rubber gloves for Rachel to wear.
