Playtex gloves have come to Australia... sort of

Post by zoraxe »

Wandering down the cleaning aisle today doing my shopping & noticed some gloves i hadnt seen before in Aus. The box looks like playtex but says Ansell premium 3 action on it.

Obviously had to buy a pair; got home & take them out and they are just playtex living rebranded as Ansell. The large is a bit small for me unfortunately - its a constant struggle to find XL gloves here - although all the large gloves i have bought from the UK fit much better than the Aus large. Still nice to find

Nice! That's because Ansell, Playtex (O'Cedar now), and Vileda belongs to the same group, Freudenberg.
Next one Europe (Vileda)? If only...

Interesting, don't think these "Playtex" gloves are available here in North America! Must be the industrial version.

I am going crazy to get the o´cedar metallic blue in my country and there is no way. Are they still being manufactured in your countries?

Yes,they're definitely the same gloves I've been wearing a pair of these now for over seven hours so you could say they look quite familiar

Excellent rubber gloves, you can't get them in the UK but I order a big batch of them from eBay in the States every so often to make sure I never run out of my favourites :yay:

I bought the 3 pack through Amazon. It was my first time using Playtex Living Gloves, so I have no comparison.

The gloves are 35cm long with normal cuff and 30cm with drip-stop like other household gloves.
The material makes the same impression on me as it does with other brand manufacturers.

They are nice gloves, but at the price in Germany I won't buy them again.
Good alternatives that are also longer for me are Marigold G01R Lightweight, Marigold Extra Long Bathroom and KCL Cama Clean 708. All of them are cheaper and of at least the same quality.
