Glove storage for extended periods
So, I'm trying to figure out if there's anything I can go to keep my rubber and latex gloves in good shape when storing for an extended period. Does anyone know if using those silica desiccant packets in my storage boxes will have any adverse effects on the latex and rubber? Any other options I can use? Thanks.
I love rubber gloves!

for normal gloves (satin, pvc, lyrca, wetlook etc) normal carton thats a bit open is fine, holding ours for years, all intact and 100%
for latex and rubber i'd suggest either vaccum bags,or a plastic box with holes so air goes in n out.

That's like opposite options? Wouldn't vacuum bags make rubber brittle?

Subject: Vacuum sealing gloves for storage

Store:
- in a cool place (e.g. garage, NOT attic)
- in a dark place
- 'airy', so don't try to squeeze all your gloves in one box.
- regularly 'stir' your gloves, shake them up so that they're not packed in the same time for prolonged time
However, best advise:
Don't store your gloves, USE them!

Re: Glove storage for extended periods
I have my rubber and latex gloves in plastic storage containers that are lockable. They are not airtight, so air can get in and out. Only reason I'm asking this is because I will be away from where they are stored currently for a short time and won't be able to bring them where I'll be until I find a new residence.
