Depends on the people in the action. I prefer that my wife not use lube for a couple of reasons. 1st being that I will ruin the gloves. 2. Is that I love the friction that happens when using leather gloves. You can feel the heat from the hand inside the glove as well as that of the leather to skin contact.

No lube needed with a nice pair of skin tight, unlined kid gloves! The feeling is awesome!

Never have needed lube with gloved hand jobs, if you're doing it to the point you need lube then you need to slow it down.
I suppose if you were to use lube, maybe with rubber/latex gloves at most.
