Before the pandemic [medical gloves]

Has anyone ever seen or worn your self medical gloves out in public before the pandemic? If it was you what was the reason or was it just for fun?
If you saw someone else wearing them just for germ reasons was it in person or in a video.
Not looking for same either.
What was your reaction to it also?

I was having lunch at a burger restaurant here in town (Atlanta) and i looked over and a girl was wearing green latex gloves eating lunch, I thought it was slightly odd but I didn't think too much of it because it was across the street from the CDC. I continued to watch from across the restaurant as she ate and what she did when she finished with them, she took them off very clinically, removing one then putting it in the palm of the other and she threw them away in the bin across the room. Never saw her eating there again or anyone else wearing gloves eating.
