sorry, can you give me an example of creepy commentators?
under the Tip Tap Asmr video I can not see inappropriate messages, maybe they have been deleted?

however Vik didn't stop for creepy commentators, but only because she hates gloves and only did it for views.
Of course she had requests from glove lovers, but they weren't creepy ...

Not necessarily creepy, just demanding and repetitive. It's always this handful kinda guys showing up.

Also present feelings always trump what they might have said/implied/intended earlier. Don't hold them to it.

In addition to SexySurgical's comments, I get creepy comments on my Flickr page from people who assume that I'm a woman. The most vulgar comments are usually sent via private messages, but I've deleted a number of x-rated comments on photos that are clearly marked "safe". A lot of guys believe they come off smooth online. Often what they think sounds smooth comes across as awkward and demanding.

It is not just youtube but also instagram and the like as well. Not just with models, but also unsuspecting people that share a personal photo of themselves that they just happen to be wearing gloves in.

And to be honest, yes, I totally understand when she says that she feels pressured into doing things and that in itself takes away from the fun in things. It's why I don't share as much glove content anymore myself. On a lot of glove content, I'd rarely get a "Wow this is a really nice photo" etc., but instead I would get a lot more "You should wear x brand of gloves instead", or "You should do x or y with your gloves." And it isn't fun to share content that you really love, only for it to be shot down with a list of demands. It just takes away the enjoyment when it seems like you can never please your audience.

Unfortunately it seems far too common that this happens.

They probably have been (if not under this video then at least under previous ones), as she mentions in the video at 5:45.

Probably a lot of these comments were being sent privately, though, so we wouldn't have seen them.

And I don't want to go looking for a specific example right now, but you can't tell me that you've never read a comment section under a glove video where a certain someone asked the question "could you take them off inside out next time?" or something similar.

So I actually chatted with Vik on IG before she uploaded this video. I was asking if she could contribute to a "Masks and Gloves" IG profile I have to encourage wearing both during COVID time. I asked her about it and she wasn't too keen on it. Fair enough. During our chat she said she had been trying to stop doing glove videos for a while, but it was specifically because she hated doing ASMR. And honestly, I don't really like ASMR either, really don't understand (which is fine, to each their own). And I did tell her if she wasn't happy doing it just to stop doing it, but maybe she could continue some glove content (like the puzzle was fun, and she admitted she was okay with that) but just not do ASMR anymore. Apparently that's the biggest requests she gets is ASMR with gloves.

Also, keep in mind that she's probably really stressed out with the whole COVID situation and is pulling her hair out. The pushy comments probably don't help. I have a feeling once things settle down, she might do a couple glove videos here and there, or she might just get discouraged and stop altogether. Ultimately it's her choice and I support whatever she wants to do. She's already given us so much great content. Can't really complain.

I've had girlfriends in the past who didn't like wearing gloves ... it was actually stressful. we might as well quit.

I’m new to the glove fetish community. As a 19 year old, I’ve spent a lot of my teenage years fantasising about gloves etc. Asmr was almost a scapegoat for me as it was so easily accessible and harmless and somewhat guilt free (I struggled coming to terms with my fetish it’s something I’ve always kept quiet for the most part). If I wanted anything more sexual from it I’d go look for porn instead of harassing content creators that have innocently fallen into a fetish related subculture. If this works in your favour then let the act stay innocent, instead of urging people to give you some form of sexual gratification, this ruins it for anyone watching from the sidelines and can also negatively affect random content creators all over the internet
