Green latex gloves [longer cuff used by dentist?]
Hello,
Recently I was at the dentist, who wore green (but not light green) latex gloves. The gloves felt very soft (probably not (micro)textured) and smelled very very nice (= a real latex smell). It seemed to me that they were a bit longer than the normal disposable gloves. Maybe someone has an idea which brand it could be? Thanks!

Re: Green latex gloves
My firehouse still get longer cuff thick latex gloves. They are blue I know what you mean. I can’t think of the brand we use but I think microflex. They are nice ones. Since latex gloves aren’t used as much for patient care due to nitrile we have. I will slip on a pair over my current nitrile gloves to check equipment sometimes. They are almost like chemical resistant so good for gas and oil.

Re: Green latex gloves
I have seen dark green around in exam fashion, but the only brand name I can think of are _surgical_ biogels.
Maybe these? Light tough:

Re: Green latex gloves
Fire dept. In many countries those have ambulances too, even our German neighbours.

Thx! Most of them seem to be non-latex gloves. It were definitely latex ones. I found also latex undergloves (Ansell, Biogel) are green, but not sure if they are fit for single-glove wearing.

Nope. So in my country and in most small towns where I live, volunteer firefighters are mostly found in rural areas and suburban areas. We use looser terms such as the firehouse instead of saying our volunteer fire Dept. And yes some do still have ambulance services but that it starting to go away or become separated. Also most volunteer fire departments are looking for volunteers around the country of the us. Not sure how it is in other countries. We even call our fire department the barn internally example: “see ya back at the barn”. And then some that take it more official and say “meet you back at the station”.

It could be Microflex Neoguard which fits all of your description, other than the smell of Latex. Very common in dentists offices now.

Aaah, ok. I was looking at my keyboard checking how close the letters for "firehouse" were to those for "dentist". Didn't realize firemen need latex gloves too.countrylatexglover wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 1:41 pmNope. (...) We use looser terms such as the firehouse instead of saying our volunteer fire Dept.
