Heat resistant gloves surely? The cabin crew on my flight from Barcelona wore similar ones last weekend. They let them pick up very hot paninis etc from the small oven.
Cabin crew used to use marigold type gloves as well for messy jobs but I only see disposable nitrile these days. Thankfully the hotel I stayed in and the airport cleaners left some nice household gloves lying around for me
