Hi everyone,
I want to share my glove collection with my new girlfriend, she has tiny hands, probably size 6. My glove collection has Leather in my size (7.5-8) or satin and velvet gloves with one fit all size, but those "one size" gloves are actually not suitable for tiny hands. She tried some and they are so bulky on her hand. I want to get her few nice fitting pairs.
So it is easy to find shops with small or customized size for leather, but I have difficulties to find shops with specific sizes for satin or velvet.
All I found is some vintage stuff on etsy.
Does anybody knows any shops selling small size or customized satin gloves?
Thanks a lot!

Re: Small size/custom-made satin gloves?
Almost nobody makes custom satin/velvet/silk,thats why most sells it in onesize cause theyall buy from factorys, nobody bothers to make sizes
Your only solution imho is go with her (or alone) to some brides saloon/shop (or find some online) and ask for whatever u want...they have access to all kinds of fabrics
Do notice cause u would want just 1-2 pairs and its a tiny job for them, price will pdobably be expensive (tho i hope im wrong)
Happy hunting

Re: Small size/custom-made satin gloves?
Yeah it is not obvious.
Since we are in Japan, I found only one shop in Amazon Japan that offers satin bridal gloves by size.
https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B074KT9GQN/ ... tFbA0A24Q7
The S size fit well for her arms, especially that they have the wrist tailored tighter
The tip of the fingers are a little long though.
But yeah, we'll keep hunting, she seems enjoying the concept of gloves, even though it doesn't arouse her the same way

Hey Operalove,
You're on the right track! my girlfriend has smaller hands and when I shop for gloves for her, I typically buy them from Japan. While I don't buy satin gloves, a quick search on Mercari Japan has some promising results. Mercari is a site for people to sell things. Kind of like Etsy.
Here's the link: https://www.mercari.com/jp/search/?sort ... _on_sale=1
I find something I like on Mercari or Yahoo Japan shopping/ Auctions and I use https://buyee.jp/( a proxy buying and shipping service in Japan to purchase it on my behalf. There are some fees involved to use the service. It's very helpful. Also note, you may have to pay customs fees depending on your location. But, for the US I have not had any fees to pay.
Since, at the time of this post, it's covid time. The Japanese post is not shipping to many places including to the US. So, the only safe option is DHL. Which is super expensive. But, it arrived fast.

Here are the search results from Yahoo Auctions/ Yahoo Shopping /Rakuten

Good Luck! If you have questions, let me know!
I also have webpages translated with this plugin: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... ranslator/
Buyee also has a plugin you load into chrome or firefox that allows you to "add to buyee" like add to cart feature where as you are browsing a supported site, it can help with the purchasing directly.

Re: Small size/custom-made satin gloves?
Thanks a lot for your detailed answer!
It is actually easier for us since we live in Japan, so I don't have troubles with buying through a proxy.
I have been checking on Mercari already, found some models but I wasn't sure if the pictures looked really as expected or not. Of course, it is always possible to ask the seller about details. I am still browsing...
But thanks for reminding me about Yahoo and Rakuten, I totally forgot about them! I always find what I need on Amazon and Mercari so I rarely use those.
You're really an expert on japanese shopping websites, good work

Even better you live in Japan! You could say I'm as fan of Japan and it's awesome shopping experiences.
Glad I could be of some help.
