Post by pinkrubbergloves »

Just curious if these are considered old/vintage yet lol. I found them looking for other gloves in my collection. They are brand new. Anyone desire these rubber gloves ??

:D Aren't these the current ones?

Let me know if you find any from the previous generation. ;)

To my knowledge they are not. Especially this edition.

It’s hard to tell for me since I never EVER see Playtex Gloves locally anymore. They used to be the most common rubber gloves I could find 15-20 years ago. Now I never see them. So that is why I ask

Yes, I have the same ones! Took forever to find them and I had to buy them through US eBay! Funny enough I think I still have one or two packs brand new! Guess they didn't make it to my favorite list! Still prefer the one generation before those with 2-tone color! Somehow Playtex gloves disappeared when they came out with the newer version years ago, even online could not buy and have them shipped to Canada, only private sellers or through eBay!

I guess I compared them to Casabella at the time would be the waterstop gloves, they were not as good! That's why I still have some brand new pairs sitting around.

Well, I must confess my experience with them being everywhere is already nine years old already too. So I'm not quite sure about the current situation.

Sad to hear that they aren't really around anymore. Guess we weren't the only ones that preferred the older version.

I personally was never a fan of the Pink Playtex gloves at any point. I love the color of these but not the style. The 2 tone pink just never did it for me like the 2 tone yellow. I wish I had a pair of those 2 tone yellow ones now. Those were gorgeous. Sadly I took them for granted and never stocked up. I was too busy with trying to get the perfect pair of Natural Household.

These Pink 2009 ones are definitely up for trade if anyone is interested.

I wasn't aware there was any difference between the pink and yellow two-tones other than the color. :hmm:

There wasn’t.

I was just trying to say that I did not like the 2 tone pink.

I do love the color of these 2009 ones but not the style (Casabella style)
