Beware of patreon.com/glovegirls
Hi guys,
I assume some of you support GloveGirls on Patreon. What the hell is going on there? Someone said that the girl who runs that account has been sick, but she wrote that she was back in the first week of December. That was nearly 2 months ago, but in all this time she has only been reposting old videos. (She deleted all her posts when she came back.)
I've always been suspicious of her strange tiers, what with several hundred dollars once and then only $1 after the second month. I always thought, MAYBE she just wants to make a quick dollar. Now I'm ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN! I just saw that she's offering a $3'000 tier! No, that's no typo. It's THREE EFFING THOUSAND DOLLARS she wants to have in exchange for you "running her channel for a month as if it was yours". What the hell does that even mean?
Guys, do yourselves a favour and stay away from that channel! Giving her THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in advance after she hasn't produced anything new in months is just crazy!

Re: Beware of patreon.com/glovegirls
Finally someone has said something. They taking advantage of the glove community. But I feel that we are to blame for not saying anything. When I approached them about it they told me I'm blackmailing and threatening them, and was told their lawyers would deal with me.
I've wasted hundreds of dollars. I don't think a female runs the page, but rather a male and he doesn't have any models that are willing to do content anymore besides two or three. And even they don't want to do content. Or they've become too comfortable with making a killing from the glove community, and nobody outwardly challenges them because they become rude.
Also, why are they still allowed on the forum?

Re: Beware of patreon.com/glovegirls
I don't know if GloveGirls is receiving any backlash, but now they seem to be posting again. I was subscribed to their secondary patreon SatinGloveGirls way back and they promised monthly content but when they stopped posting for 2 months, I stopped supporting them.
Now that they seem to be active again, I still agree that we should stay away from them, they are just trying to exploit the glove fetish community. Save your money for more gloves people.

So far, no official complaint had been lodged against them. And besides, they haven't logged in since July.
I've now revoked their Glovely Diva status and removed all links to their Patreon.

Re: Beware of patreon.com/glovegirls
The ending of this infuriating story (I paid her for a custom video she never delivered) is that she offered to make a refund 10 days ago, and now her Patreon account has been deleted, and since I have no other way to contact her, I guess that means I've been scammed out of a fucking lot of money.
So, guys, take this as a cautionary tale and be careful the next time you think about buying a custom video.

Re: Beware of patreon.com/glovegirls
Quantifying the numbers, they've probably made hundred of thousands of dollars and have decided to make a quick run. What a fucking mess. I'll never get that money back. I sensed what was going on from the time they went missing in September. Did people really believe all the stories they were being told?

Really doubt they made 'couple of hundred of thousand of dollars', the glove fetish community is tiny compared to normal porn.

Re: Beware of patreon.com/glovegirls
So, I'll probably seem a bit bias given the relationship I have with GloveGirls here.
I have been probably one of the few content creators who has been there promoting them, and being by their side through issues on Instagram and support on other sites.
Let me address a few of the comments made in here.
You seem to be implying that you do not have any means of contacting given that the one channel you were contacting her from has been taken down.
and ... (onto the next point)
My earliest engagement I have was talking about their Instagram which was removed around September 2022, and followed by a message in October 2022 of them having Surgery.
They had a few different pricing models from:
- All Standard SFW Videos (odd spicy one)
- All NSFW Videos
- All Standard + NSFW Videos
- Other versions which included commissions, and the directors one which gave you power for a full month of videos.
I agree that some of them like the Directors' one were a little excessive in price and were probably more of a gimmicky thing than the others.
But none of this isn't normal for what exists already within the communities of adult content?
I've continued talking with them a bit since the deletion of their Patreon.
But while I agree they've done a bit stranger of the things in comparison to a standard Patreon model.

Legitimately she does have a twitter still, and can probably contact her on that. Additionally you probably have been offered to join their secondary Twitter account.I paid her for a custom video she never delivered [...] now her Patreon account has been deleted, and since I have no other way to contact her,

Some Individuals do remove sections of their tweets from time to time to keep either a limited number of tweets on their wall / keep only the last X period of time.Interesting, also all tweets of the last 6 months gone...

This would probably explain to the reason of not posting during that period of time, and might be simply that they haven't engaged in their account for 6 month.Someone said that the girl who runs that account has been sick, but she wrote that she was back in the first week of December.

Their primary model on Patreon has been, Pay up front for all existing and future content with a big bulk price. I.E. the price you would pay for buying out someone's entire collection on Clip4Sales ETC, and then paying a small $1 fee per month to continue to keep access to all future content.Their model of payment (Summaries)

Thnx for the input!
You mean the satin account?Lat3xKitty wrote: βSun Jan 29, 2023 4:37 pm twitter still, and can probably contact her on that. Additionally you probably have been offered to join their secondary Twitter account.
Granted, mainly gathering facts, but should be noted the one time 300 bucks was promoted big time the other week and now all is just gone at one w/ just one pinned tweet...Lat3xKitty wrote: βSun Jan 29, 2023 4:37 pmSome Individuals do remove sections of their tweets from time to time to keep either a limited number of tweets on their wall / keep only the last X period of time.Interesting, also all tweets of the last 6 months gone...
