I'll check those out, thanks for the reply!Rommeltje wrote:Well, mine were from some hardware store in New York, no idea where else you could get them (I wrote about them here), but I'd recommend getting a pair from the 24" range of Marigold Emperor gloves, or perhaps even their 26" ones!g_love999 wrote:Any particular ones you recommend to try for the first timer?

Oh interesting, still I think the pair that you have drape over the tap is classic Playtex living? I still like them the best from Playtex, too bad I never had a chance to own the rest of the colours before they completely disappeared.

Thank you very much! Those yellow ones are the last generation Playtex gloves, size small, they are definitely a collectors item!gloveloverus wrote:Oh interesting, still I think the pair that you have drape over the tap is classic Playtex living? Where did you get the blue Playtex gloves? Online or local store?

Re: Household rubber glove collection
I got them at Walmart, it's a two pair pack, light blue and purple. Online or in store. So far the light blue is my favorite color!gloveloverus wrote:Where did you get the blue Playtex gloves? Online or local store?

I guess you're in the US? Playtex gloves have disappeared in Canada for quite some time now, I'll check Walmart next time I'm there. They don't sell much of a selection these days.

Yes, I'm sorry I didn't mention that. That's quite a shame!!! You should definitely write a letter to Playtex or the PM, lol. When I found out they were at Walmart I went into the the store, they carried that double pack and the seasonal colors, green for spring and leftover sky blue for the winter, in addition to the regular purple. That was just the Playtex lot, they had other brands as well, but I think this might have been a "super" Walmart, one of the bigger ones, which has a better selection of everything.gloveloverus wrote:I guess you're in the US? Re: Household rubber glove collection
Thanks, I did complain to Playtex at the time when they introduced the classic Playtex gloves in different colours. They said it was a marketing decision and they were backing out of Canada!
