Donating anonymously
If you want to give money, but you don't want me to see your real name and/or address (although I'm very trustworthy, if I do say so myself

) your name is completely safe with me, and I'll forget it right away, but still), here's how you can do that. I've tested it myself, so I know it works:
- Step 1
Set up a new Paypal business account (the free, standard one, obviously).
Step 2
Fill out the account form with a fake business name and address. This is the name that will appear on my Paypal account when you make a donation. Use a real e-mail address, but use your throwaway/spam/porn/secret one.
Step 3
Give your real name and info in the ownership section, otherwise your account cannot be verified. (e-mail can be the same as in the previous step). This name will not be visible when you make payments.
Step 4
Verify with your bank account (probably works with credit card as well, but I only tried it with my bank account, so I can't guarantee that). The verification process takes a few days.
Step 5
Once verified, you can click on any of the buttons in my previous post to start donating. On my account, it will say that I received money from [fake business name] with your email address, and nothing else.
Optional steps
Step 6
Instead of clicking the donate buttons, you can also log in to your paypal account, go to the tab "transfer money" (or something like that, I only know it in Dutch, but it's the second tab. You should be on the "pay online" page). In the "To:" box, type wwgfa@hotmail.com, there should be a little pop up (or pop down, actually) saying that this is a verified e-mail address. In the next box, fill in how much money you want to donate, and below that specify what kind of payment you want to make (I made it "private" and "miscellaneous" (or "other", or whatever it says in English)).
Step 7
Click Next, and finish the payment. Just like in step 5, I will only see your alias, and not your real name.
To make it even more clear,
this is what I will see. (The page is in Dutch, and I blanked out a few things for security reasons. "Bedrijfsnaam" means "Business name", "E-mail koper" is "E-mail buyer", i.e., the donator, and "Zakelijk" is "Business". Oh, and I took the screenshot when I set up the first fund raiser, which is why it says 2010.

)
Unfortunately, when you use your bank account, it'll take five days before the money is actually transferred, but I will get a notification of it already. If you use your credit card, it will be there instantly.
Let me know if you have any questions!
