if the fingerless gloves,are opera length and longer - its not that bad (yes i want the fingers,but its toleable)
got a pink satin long fingerless pair,wearing it here n there and its alright,you should try

I hate short Rubber gloves. I cant stand holes in Rubber gloves too. I know its not on the list but smoking in rubber gloves winds me up.
